Reiner Braun is recently returned from an international conference in Shanghai. It was organized by the Party-related Chungui Institute for Development and Strategic Studies and by the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung. It was titled “Socialist Perspectives on International Relations and Security Policies in a Historic Shift towards Multi-Polar World.” Reinter also met with other senior foreign policy analysist while he was there.
Until recently, Reiner Braun was the General Secretary of the International Peace Bureau, based in Berlin. He has decades of experience in the German and European peace movements, was deeply involved the Max Plank Institute’s planning for the Einstein Year, and he has been a leading figure in promotion of Common Security diplomacy.
Reiner had a computer issue that clouded up his screen, but the audio is clear and very well worth listening to.
