Their call is urgent: stop wars, halt preparations for nuclear conflict, and uphold commitments to eliminate nuclear weapons. Through protests, survivor testimonies, and a global conference, activists aim to confront the growing risks of nuclear war, challenge the idea of deterrence, and push for a safer, nuclear-free world.

Japanese atomic bomb survivors (Hibakusha) will visit Massachusetts following the UN Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty Review Conference to inspire and strengthen efforts toward nuclear disarmament and peace. Joined by community leaders, they aim to energize education and activism in response to today’s global crises.
